Thanks Don for your support this year.

I think there are at least eight more FreeStuff items ready to post and I am receiving emails and Private Messages almost daily with offers of more prizes. This should be a very intersting year.

Drew,

You have to be a Contributor 2008 to be elligible for FreeStuff Drawings and to participate in our Bulk Buy Program.

Its an incentive to get people to support The Creek, more perks for Contributors who help us pay the bills.

Kudos to Ken and GIS! That is a great prize!

Thanks,

Rick Warren (owner of GIS) has been a long time supporter of SMC. This is not the first time he has come through for us. If and when you call GIS tell them you are a SMC Contributor and thank them for their support.

So I joined in August... Contributed I believe in September or October... and it is not yet 2008... so when does the "Creeks" calendar turn over... Not that I am complaining I contributed because it seemed like a good cause not because there was a drawing... I think this is like my 30th post.

Drew,

Normally we don't change the user titles until November 1st which is the start of our fund drive for the coming year. Donations made prior to November are credited to the current year 2007 that is why I made an announcement and asked everyone not to donate until November. I updated your account to 2008 since you were not aware of our fiscal year.

Thanks for your support.

I could really use the Jet. I only have a cheap Sears sharpener. The wheel broke in half so I epoxied it back together. OK for the lawnmower blade but that's about it.

Please buy a new wheel! Don't trust the epoxy to hold, especially at the speeds grinders turn at. You don't want that coming apart at speed.

Cheers,
James

ha. I can one up you. I don't have a sharpener. I've been using (gulp) 220 grit on my 1" belt sander.

Wow! Other than a couple of $5 football pools, I've never won anything before.

When I saw that Jet sharpener listed as a drawing prize, I thought, "man, it would be great to win that."

It is! Thanks Keith for all that you do for SMC.
