RIDGID JP0600 Jointer?

Anyone have experience with the RIDGID JP0600 jointer? It is an older model (circa 1998-9) and has a closed stand. How does it compare to the current model Ridgid, Grizzly, etc.?

I bought mine in 2001, it has the splayed legs, otherwise I think it is the same. It does what it says it does. Blades are not bad to change with a jig. Sure I wish it was wider and had a longer bed, but it does a good job. A good value for the dollar.
