Has anyone tried to use their lasers for cutting out highly detailed pumkins?

My wife keeps suggesting that, but I have not tried it. It would be cool if it worked but then it could be a little messy.

As a matter of fact yes. I got a couple of the small pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch up the street, that would fit in the rotary attachment, and spent a couple of hours trying it. Was able to punch thorough the outer skin but no further, BUT they do engrave, the laser bruises the skin and the next day it turns darker. BTW pumpkins bleed clear, be prepared to clean up pumpkin blood, it's kind of sticky.

Anybody have better luck?
