What do you Pen Wizards use for a finish on stabilized burl blanks? I've been using Hut's Crystal Coat on my wood pens, but did not know if it would work well on the stabilized wood.
Thanks,
Bob

Sand to 400g, sand in BLO or Watco w/600g, then coat with 2-3 coats of thin CA to build a surface, then polish with micromesh and finish with Hut crystal coat to finish...
Takes a little time but it's an awesome finish..

Thanks Mike,
I'll try that on the next one. I got impatient and just went ahead and polished her up and used the Huts. Came out fine. I think I will be doing some more with these stabilized burls. Makes a really awesome pen.
