I made these pens to be items that will be donated to my daughter’s school fund raising silent auction. I have been working on them a lot longer than I care to admit. I made so many attempts at getting them “just right” that I had to re-order brass tubes and buy more pen blanks about half way thru the project, since I wasn’t pleased with the results up to that point.

I sure am glad to have this effort behind me. But, at least I can say that I am pleased with the results.

All pen kits are from Craft Supply – one Lotus Pen, one Imperial Pen and two Emperor Pens.

The laser engraved presentation cases came from Ken Nelsen of Kallenshaan Woods in Las Vegas, NV. (http://www.kallenshaanwoods.com (http://www.kallenshaanwoods.com/)). Ken was extremely helpful, and the quality of the cases and laser engraving are excellent (insert usual “no relationship” disclaimer here). I ordered the cases on Friday, and had them in my hands on Monday. I wish that I could have finished the pens that quickly.

Thanks for looking.

I'm curious, is the school public or private? You've done a great job and well chosen scripture verse!

the fund raiser is for a local private school (pre-k thru 12) that specializes in educating deaf children and children with "apraxia".

here is a link to the school. http://www.srsdeaf.org/

here is a link for info on apraxia. http://www.apraxia-kids.org/

our daughter was diagnosed with apraxia two years ago, and she is in the kindergarten program. she is not deaf, but she (and my wife and i) are learning sign language at the school as means of communicating with one another.

Simply amazing Jeffrey. I am making 3 Statesmen rollerballs for the groomsman in my wedding. I know first hand how how frustrating it can be perfecting a pen of that caliber. Where did you come by the boxes if you don't mind me asking? Or did you make them your self?
