Who sells a replacement start / stop station for my table saw that is equipped with the large "off" button?

I want to relocate the control station on my PM 74 because the buttons are way back under the table.....can't turn it off with my knee.

The saw is equipped with a separate magnetic starter, all I need is a source for the updated control buttons.

Thanks,
Rob

Rob, I'd like to find one for my 1995 Delta Contractors tablesaw someday also. I'm sure it will be a Delta part because I want the pigtail that plugs into motor pigtail. I take my motor off when I'm not useing the saw so I can wheel it up against the wall in the garage and park vehicles.

Rob, since you only need the pushbottons, check out Factorymation.com (http://www.factorymation.com) I've used them in the past and their prices are really good. The quality is not as good as say Allen-Bradley, but the price for you whole order will be less than one AB actuator.

They have the pushbutton actuators, contacts (you order them separate from the actuator,) and even nice legend plates. Lowes sells some nice small plastic junction boxes that make nice enclosures.

Edit: Factorymation now sells some nice looking enclosures already drilled for the pushbuttons. A 2-hole box is $10. Other than wire, everything you need would probably be < $40.

Being the cheap sob that I am, I made my own knee kick off switch. I can turn the saw off from anywhere along it's length. Found this idea in a magazine a few years back.

Contact Steel City parts. You can get a really nice switch from them, exactly like you are describing.

Here is the contact info you need.

This is the one I use for 110 stuff, I don't have any 220 in the shop at this time.

It is a 15 amp switch and has a big stop lever that I can hit with my knee. I also used it on my router table.
