This is my first post here.

I understand that the Accurate Guide fence http://www.newwoodworker.com/reviews/accurateguidervu.html is no longer made, and that the inventer has sold the patent.

I'm trying to connect with someone with one of these jigs drilled for a Bosch 1617EVS who would be willing to part with it. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

I have one but I can't part with it...

I got mine from Woodcraft, if they look in there computer they show it as no longer available.
I found mine on the bottom shelf of the store, so you may start calling all the stores you can find to see if they may still have one on the shelf.

Now to make you feel bad..... It really works very good and is easy to use, I love it. The thing I really like about it is that no matter what size wood you have your dados are just right.

I have seen it at the Woodcraft in Charleston, SC as well. I think that Highland Woodworking was selling them as well.

Fear not, there is a MkII version of the jig. The new version is adjustable to fit any router. It was invented in Japan and marketed in the US. The US distributor decided to give it up as it was not as profitable as other ventures (outside woodworking) he was involved in. That is why it is no longer available.

HERE IS A LINK (http://www.mirai-tokyo.co.jp/index2.html) to the Japanese site - It is all in Japanese but you will get the idea…. A contact of mine is importing some to the UK. As soon as I have one I will post some more information.
