A turning comission?

I need a front knob for a plane that I am rehabbing for my daughter. I am making the base and tote out of purple heart and need a front knob turnrd. Is there any one out there that would be willing to turn a knob for me? It is a simple shape and I will be glad to send the original to you for duplication.

Let me see tonight if I have some 1.5x1.5" purpleheart at home if I do I will make it. I have lots of handplanes so tell if it is a low or high style knob. and the # and type style.

Thank you for replying.

It actually is a transitional plane and the original knob measures 1 7/8" across at the big part 1 3/4" tall.The base measures 1 3/16" across going into a cove. the center of the cove is 5/16" above the bottom and the rest is the bulb. The bottom is flat with a 1/4" hole through the center.

I will be glad to mail you the original as a pattern if that would make it easier. If I need to send along the wood, just let me know. And tell me the price.
