I had a mat I got at HD or Lowes, not sure which, anyway....
It was one of those with the little beads all stuck together. It worked just fine but I notice that I could see the pattern on some of my work. It would sand out if I sanded long enough.
I cleaned it good and that didn't really help much, so in the trash it went..
Just so happened I was on Price Cutters site and then had a 24x36 for $9.99. I order it and is it nice, it is not the same type, it is more of a rubber mat. It even hold better then the other one.
