First NE bowl

This is my first try at a NE bowl. It is mesquite with a few worm holes. I found the blank under some stuff I moved today. So I decided to try one out. Only finish is some BLO wiped on. Its about 5 inches X 2 1/2 inches. Edge is 1/4 inch.

Pretty piece of wood and nice first attempt at a NE.

I like NEs because you can turn them to finish and let the warping and cracking begin..........You don't know what you are going to end up with until they finish there end of the bargain!

Nice first NE.This was very dry wood. I don't think its going to warp any.

Nice bowl Bobby. Make sure you date and sign it to keep as a comparison a year from now. I was amazed at the difference on mine.
