Miller Dowels ??

Anyone use the Miller dowels? Like em? Hate em? Any opinions?

I am thinking of building some cabinets using them but first, I have to build a Cherry bookcase using the Cherry dowels to test it.

Just wondering what the feedback is out there before I start.

Rob, I just used them for the first time on a mattress pan for a platform bed. Just butt joined White Oak with 3 Miller dowels per the pic. Seems to be very strong. I will use them again when I have the right chance. Obviously I didn't do a very good job of grain direction matching, but that's how we learn...
