I'm a long time lurker, first time poster here on the creek...

I can get a good deal locally on the Tenryu GM but im worried about the .111 kerf. I'm a safety freak and always use (when possible) the OEM splitter and blade guard on my Delta contractors saw. Will the 'mid size' kerf of the Tenryu cause me problems?

Do you have calipers to get at splitter and see how wide it is? It's probably the same size splitter as I have on a delta hybrid saw, but I don't use it - I use an MJ splitter instead, which comes in thin kerf and standard kerf flavors. It is not as "safe" as a standard splitter, though.

Maybe someone on here who uses a WWII TK blade will pipe up. You know if it works with that, it'll work on your saw.
