View Full Version : Deflection in your miter gauge?

With my stock miter gauge (Delta), and a piece of MDF screwed to it, I get about 1/16" deflection on the end. The gauge itself is adjusted to have no slop, but the assembly has some slop still.

My question is, what type of gauge do you have, and how much, if any deflection are you getting? I have a crosscut sled, but I can't use my guard/splitter with it and usually go for the miter gauge.....

Not sure whether to tune up my sled, or buy a new Incra 1000SE.....

Thanks

I recently got the Osborne EB-3. Solid as a rock, no deflection issues at all.

I have the Incra 1000SE and have not noticed any deflection.
