DOB 1999 (but doesn't look a day over 2005!)
2 heads, 43" x 75" belts
30 HP main motor (wye delta starter)
remote contact point actuation, timed platen raise/lower, belt cleaner blower

These pics are before I detailed it on Friday. It now looks clean and pristine. The inside pics show the pneumatics that raise and lower the heads. It can be run with up to 3 contact points: steel drum, rubber drum, platen.

It has been a wild ride from the garage startup in 2001 with a Performax 22/44 Pro!

WOW. Very very nice. No wonder you are selling the 37" double drum.

I can only imagine what that thing weighs!! Makes my buddie's new Timesaver Speedsaver single belt look small.

And I bought his old G1066Z 26" Double Drum.

The paper for your machine probably costs what I paid for my Griz.

Congrats again.

You're not going to like that thing~!!

I tell ya what. I'll arrange junking it for a small fee. I can use the scrap metal.

How's about a few hundred?

I have a custom cabinet door business, so I will be sanding lots and lots of cabinet doors, door panels, and drawer faces.

When I was negotiating, the brokers (there were two different companies - one on the seller's end and one on my end) kept telling me that it was practically new and had been in storage for years gathering dust. Of course, I took that with a grain of salt, and I paid a tech to power it up and test all of the functions. Aside from some minor dings in the move, it was a pleasant surprise to find that it really was a low hours machine.

I can't claim to have gotten a great deal on it, but it is the machine that I was looking for.

JR, before i really start drooling, tell me ONE THING: how many seconds does it take to sand a typical 30" cabinet door?

With this, rounding up to 36" door: 10 seconds per side. Napkin?
