Need Screw Chuck Advice on Oneway Talon

I have to come to really like using my wormwood screw with my Oneway Talon w/ #2 jaws. Sure makes mounting, turning a tenon, then flipping the piece over a breeze. However, I can't use that screw with the new #3 profiled tower jaws I got, it is to short. Has anyone used the longer 2 inch woodwood screws available from Oneway with tower jaws? Can anyone give me a general guideline for how large of piece of wood I could safely use this mounting method?

P.S. I am turning outboard, so I have no tailstock to provide additional support or saftey.

You may want to ask OneWay directly about compatibility...but if it has the same attachment profile as the standard screw (which I also like with my Talon), it will likely work. Kevin is pretty good about answering questions like that.
