How 'bout this for the top. I usually don't use boards that are this "directional" for tops, but these boards are sequenced from the same log and are that tiger oak again. I really want to put these where they can really be seen and appreciated.

What you think???

Looks OK by me! I can see the tiger striping. I can also see that the boards are different colors, unless that's just your photography skills talking to me again. :)

Photography skills.......not that is something I really don't have. :D

The darker looking one has been on top of the stack right by a window. The other one has not been exposed to any sun. I think both will be the exact same color after they get planed.

Notice that farther down the board they become the same color where the sun has not been hitting them.
