I'm in the process of planning my workbench and I really like the Adjust-A-Bench, but I have one concern: the legs are bolted to the top with lag screws (thru round holes, not slotted holes) at the corners of panels, approx 17 inches apart. It seems to me that in attaching the base like that, any wood movement would be corraled and restricted which might cause a cracked top or a tweeked base or something popping out that shouldn't. The guy at Noden says not to worry about it, but I'm concerned. Any thoughts, folks?
