Well I was trying this very small HF but lost my nerve when trying to hollow it out more because of my limited tooling and experience. I was afraid of another "catch" so I quit while I was ahead.
Now the big question, does anybody know what kind of wood this is? I stopped along the road today and cut a hunk off of a tree that was cut down about a year ago when they put a new road in near me. The thing was just sitting there in a big pile of limbs and branches. It smelled kind of weird, like old plywood sort of. I think it looks really interesting!
