View Full Version : Stainless brads for outside signage?

I just got a fairly large order (700 pieces) for some small tags that will be installed outside. I've ordered the material for outside use and we're all good to go on that. The customer asked if I had any small stainless nails to put them up. I'll be burning two holes for mounting and they will all go on wood.

They don't want to use screws for some reason (I guess they think screwing 700 plates up would take longer than nailing up 700). I think it's a mistake since holding a nail that small is more of a pain than anything. I can promise mashed thumbs.

But just a quick look in the usual places left me with no ideas. I don't have to provide them with an answer, but I'd like to. They were fine if I didn't know of anything as they'd handle it.

Any ideas?

Mcmaster Carr has them as Doug said.
Look for "TYPE U DRIVE SCREW".

While this place has minimal nail types, it does have a great selection of square drive screws.
