Title says it all. im looking for a deal on a PC 7518. Just the motor is fine. I got a Prolift for $170 on an amazon deal and would like to put it to use.

Im looking to spend under $250. I got in on an amazon deal in february for a PC7518 and got it for my dad for ~$160 with rebate and other promotions. I dont expect to find a deal like that, but i cant swing $300 right now.

Whos got them cheap?

Best price I found was Tools-plus. Their price for a complete router (motor and fixed base) was about $100 cheaper than Amazon's price for just the motor. I called Amazon and pointed out that Amazon's price for the 7518 complete router was just a few bucks more than for the motor alone. They (the dude) replied that they were the biggest retail outlet in the world, and he just worked there. Can't argue with logic like that! Bought mine at Tools-plus, and just might use the savings for a large bottle of 12-year single malt :D .

Amazon has (had) a price match policy...

Can someone explain why they have the 7519 for the same price as the 7518? The 7519 is the same router, but no variable speed? Never made sense to me?
