I'm running an old version of corel draw, V10. Is there software to convert newer files to older files?

I believe your only option is to ask the sender to convert the file to your version. That is a newer version of Corel can save files in an older version.

Yea, I looked through about 30 pages of Google for Corel translators or Corel version converters and didn't come up with anything close.
I would suggest the originator of the file save it as a lower version also.

What a bummer. I hate to be "that guy" that has the oldest version of corel... can't seem to get the Navy to upgrade.

Yours is not the oldest, my epilog came as a turn key operation including v9. It all does the job, you don't miss what you've never had.

This may have been posted before, but:

Corel Draw Forum:
coreldraw.com/forums/
(aside: note there is no www; just add the http:// bit to the above.)

I looked around on that forum, but no one has posted your question there.

Also, usnet newsgroup:
server: cnews.corel.com (standard NNTP ports and so forth)
use your favorite news reader and search for your question there.

I also checked two known sites that sell visual basic scripts for CorelDraw but they had nothing for your question either (except for owners of X3 saving to version 10.)
