Here is my first attempt at an end grain cutting board. I borrowed my design from David Marks Butcher block table...

I learned a lot, and the LOML is happy so it was a succesful project.

I like the look! I just ordered some purpleheart, walnut, and maple to make some Christmas gifts. I am on the lookout for good ideas.
