.....if you don't get my ornament! :o Thought I'd give the birdhouse thingies a try. I know they're usually done in two pieces, but I had a really light weight chunk of wood to try. So.... everything was going along fairly fine until one end broke loose. Chucked it up instead of turning between centers. Then that piece broke. So it's sorta 'finished' :rolleyes:

I like the design for sure Bonnie , sry to hear it broke? get some glue and add an embelishment to cover up the broke part maybe....:D

They're called design opportunities! Mine usually end up in multiple pieces. Your birdhouses will do very well. Keep turnin' 'n learnin'!

I've been practicing too Bonnie. I've got a few in my scrap bin and I managed to turn two. Not birdhouses though. One looks ok and the other is just plain ol' ugly. :o

Your's looks very good and I like it. :)
