Hi guys,

I need a simple portable drill guide to assist in drilling straight and angled holes. Any suggestions?

Tks

I'm not sure what features you are looking for. Woodcraft sells one for $14 (item 140876140876). It includes bushings for 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2" drills. It works as expected, provided there is a bushing for the size of hole you want to drill.

You could of course just drill a hole in a block of wood with your drill press, and use that as a guide.

I picked up the "Wolfcraft" portable drill guide for $7 on clearance last week from HD. Not the greatest quality item in the world, but definitely works, and much better than the $35+ regular price...
