View Full Version : "Square checker" - different version

Good day

I made a different version of the "Squae Checker"

I used 6 mm (1/4") dowels because the "Hole Saw" is drilling 6 mm at the wheel centre.

The dowels are getting into the holes so tight that I even use dowel instead of bolt to sand the wheels as you will see on the pics.

Sorry for "showing off" my router table rolling mortiser but, I love it so much....

Regards
niki

Niki,

I just read thru your thread rather quickly and need to read it again and again. So much to absorb in so short a period of time:)

I like the feather-board/roller setup on your table-saw.

Thank you so much

Jim
Well, there are a few ideas there but, I posted them all.

Michael
I also like the "feeder rollers" and use them on every rip cut, usually, together with the "hold down rollers".
Every one of them, separately, is pressing the board down to the table and to the fence and the cut is very safe and easy.

You always come up with very interesting and elegant tools and jigs. You have a very creative mind. Thanks for sharing your ideas with others.
