Frequency settings

I'm looking at the print driver ( WinXP) I'll use on my Epilog Profile and I dont see a setting for frequency. Did older lasers have a variable setting?

Just trying to figure everything out before I get it hooked up next week.

I might of found it. There's a setting for 'Rate' in the Vector portion of the driver that goes from 1 to 100.

It may be called PPI on your machine.

On the Profile/Radius win32 engraver print driver, rate is the same as frequency. Whereas on newer machines, it's called frequency. Cutting at a lower rate will result in a preforated cut. Cutting at a rate of 100 is what you'll want to use on acrylic.
