Heres another small practice project I did today. Its a mini ball bat of purple heart. I had a few pieces of the PH that turned to the brown color instead of the nice bright purple that I would have preferred so I thought Id cut it up and practice my turning with it. The finish is tung oil. Whaddyathink??
All comments welcome and especially advice!!
Thanks,
Jim

And another one, a tool handle of maple. I loved turning maple for the first time, it was really nice to work with. Gotta get me some more of that!!

Very nice, but FYI those are bonkers. Do a search and you will see other bonkers that were made during the great bonker turn-off. Turn-on?
