Will a Unifence work on the 1023S?

Sure it will. And if there are any mounting holes not properly positioned, it's quite easy and quick to drill new ones. Just mark the location with a center-punch and use a twist bit in a corded drill and a little oil for lubricant. Cast iron drills very easily.
