I am finally lucky to have purchased two of Creeker Doug Thompson's tools.

The 1/2 PM Crown Ellsworth is just for reference.

The smaller one is the 3/8 detail gouge which works like a charm.

The large one is the 3/4 in bowl gouge. What a way to hog out materials!
It is so steady that I can't believe it. It is so heavy I am going to have an arm like Popeye.
Both of these tools have the Oneway handles and the bowl gouge has an adapter to take the handle from 5/8 to 3/4.

I wish I was smart enough to make the black pipe handles. Maybe when I but another one of Doug's tools.

Hey congrats Pete. I am going to order some as soon as I figure out what I need. Does the detail gouge have a fingernail grind or a side grind on it? I bought one and it is straight across on the cutting end. Let me know Pete.

Here is a picture. I don't know if it is a full fingernail or a hangnail.

Down here at Turning 2007 where Doug Thompson is a vendor for the first time, I've purchased two detail gouges and two spindle gouges.
