Ocracoke Island is on the southern end of the Outer Banks.
I was there 2 weeks ago, But for some reason My wife and I never ventured back there this year. Well there is always next year. Thanks for the info.

Lance forgot to mention that Ocracoke is in North Carolina, on the outer banks. A very small strip of land surrounded by the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

If $15.00 is expensive for a 2 1/2 hour boat ride for a car and passengers together.
Try chartering a Tuna Fishing boat. That'll give ya a whole new perspective on expensive.

Just take the highway 64/264 bridge over the Roanoke Sound and turn right. Crowded in the summer months, but eases off this time of year.
