I'm thinking about getting a dremel profile sander. Are these sanders a good buy or would I be better off getting a PC?

Thanks Dave

and although I've used the thing with the power on on occaision, more often I just use the profiles by hand with the (rather expensive)OEM sanding sleeves. I've only heard real bad things about the PC. If I had to do it over, I'd get a set of "Tadpole" rubber sanding profiles-pretty close to those that come with the Dremel and forget about the motor. Have the PC without VS. Should have gotten it. It can easily get away from you. Works well for refinishing, but as David said, I end up using the profiles by hand alot. Good thing is it uses PSA paper (cheap). My FIL has the dremel, and he likes it too.

Just wondering David, what bad things have you heard?

I haven't heard anything about either one, I am just trying to figure out which way to jump.
