So the Hospice nearby is having a silent auction in a couple of weeks. I decided to make them a couple of things to sell.

First is a small spanish cedar box. Smelled like sharpening a pencil when I made it. Based on golden ratios - height:width and width:length.

Second is a Shaker style carrier. Case of 1/4" cherry, with an ash handle.

Grain wraps around both.

And thanks to Mike Wenzloff for crafting the saw which crafted the boxes.

Nice work and it's for a good cause. When I do things like that I get a great feeling that I am doing good.

Nice pieces Ken. If the shoppers appreciate the craftsmanship that went into those boxes, the hospice should make a nice amount of money!
