Hi Everyone,

I can usually be found in the laser engraving forum but today I have a wood question.

I am looking for quarter sawn eastern hard maple veneer. It needs to be 1 / 24 ( .041 ) with no backing or prefinish. Best useable size is 2in x 11in. Am looking for about 200 sq ft to start.

I have been in contact with a few places in Canda and the US but the responses have been poor and slow. So please let me know where your favorite place to buy veneer is for both price and service.

Thanks Frank

Joe Woodworker (http://www.veneersupplies.com/) and Rosebud Veneer (http://www.rosebudveneer.com/) are nice sources for veneers.

Samples from Certainly Veneer arrived today. They are maple and are 1/24, but they are not rigid enough for my purpose, so the search for quartersawn eastern hard maple continues.
