Fix Squeaky Shoe?

Got a pair of decent leather shoes - upper, sole, and part of heel. The heel seems partly loose and they squeak every step! How to fix? Glue, pull insoles up and screw? No cobblers handy!

West system epoxy has a new flexible product witch would probibly work for you. There is an article in the latest epoxy works mag.

Shoe Goo is an adhesive that will do the trick and it will remain flexible. You should be able to find it a Walmart or possibly the grocery store.

Did a "temporary" fix! Squirted some soapy water into the gap between the leather heel and sole. Quite as a mouse now!
