I was 'commissioned' to make some picture frames for LOML. Here's a pictorial essay on the goings about of making them:

Nice job! Did you do all of the milling with the handplanes? Nice collection, by the way.

This is a very pretty frame, I love the walnut and it makes an elegant presentation.

It is a secret old-world formula passed on from 42 generations ago. :D


But seriously....

LOML looked at the frames and thought I'd mounted the pictures upside down :eek: . Anyone else have thoughts on the design? I tried some beading but it didn't fit well with the overhanging top since the bead couldn't be run around in a circle....at least in my eyes.
