I am engraving a bit of granite. All was going well, did a test on a scrap, looked great. Did a big fast engraving on paper to get the proper layout (my project is on irregular shaped chunk of stone). Switched back to the settings of the great looking scrap and ran the real deal. Alas, my dog is now all plaid.
I figure this is some sort of a dpi issue, but why did it work right the first time and not the second (well, actually third because of running it on paper)?
Any imput is greatly appreciated.
Blessings to you all.
Tom

Thats almost always a conflict of ppi / dpi If it was a photo processed in photograv and you resized it after, it will 'hatch up' or you have used a odd dpi setting on the laser.. i.e. processed at 500 dpi and engraved at 300 ..
