Just wanted to share this chest of drawers with everyone. Last spring i built the 2 night stands that i posted on here and then the headboard to match. Well..i have two chest of drawers to go!! This is one, just completed the drawers today, alot of work yet to do, sanding and finishing. QTR sawn white oak, thoughout. The drawers are all dovetailed as well. I will post again when all done. I took a 2 week vacation from work, and staid in the shop for most of it!! I have had a ball. Its really nice to get things done over a period of days compared to weeks, when you have to work in your spare time. I couild get used to this kind of schudule!!

WOW. That's my kind of design. Please do post more pics when you can. I'd love to see it with better resolution. Did you base this on a historic design--something out of an old stickley catalog or the like?

An aside--My wife's family is from Missoula. According to her, certain watercourses in Missoula are "creeks" and others are "cricks." So, is that "Grant Creek" or "Grant Crick"? Just wondering...

Sure looks like the plans from Wood magazine I used. Mine isn't QSWO though. Most excellent job, looks really good. Be curious about how your going to finish it.

Really Nice. I am currently building a set of beds for my grandson and need to build a dresser sort of like yours. Do you have any plans or dimensions you could share.:)
