I am looking for a motor cover (Delta 34-843) that has been discontinued. Delta said it has been replaced by 422-04-331-0014 (plastic and not what I'm looking for). My saw is an '88 model. This cover was the blueish-grey "Delta" metal and not the new plastic that they say may or may not fit. I have never used dust collection on the this saw before but now that I am working in a much smaller shop, I have to. Before I build one out of wood or sheetmetal, I was hoping someone might know of a source that had old stuff. Thanks for looking.

Well if your not real picky Grizzly still has them I have one on my 1940 Unisaw. I was repainting the saw so I painted it to match & purchased hinges & mounted it. Works great.

Didnt even think of checking another brand! Do you happen to know what the dimensions are? My opening is aprox 15 3/8" wide, 17" tall and it would need to be about 8" deep.

16" deep front to back 19" tall & 9 1/4" inside edge against the saw to outside edge.

I hope this helps.

There are a couple up for auction on the Bay right now. Do a search for "Unisaw" and they pop right up.

I got mine (Delta, steel) from an e-bay seller whose handle is tools-rule; he carries a lot of NOS Delta machinery parts. Having just peeked at his listings, there's one for a left-tilt saw at $30 and the mirror image of it for $50. They hinge on oppposite sides.

Would you believe the auction ended yesterday. Rats! Thanks for the info.

I also found the NOS one for Left tilt saws here http://www.weberwoodworking.com/specialspage.htm for a little more. Not so bad if you factor in it includes Free shipping of such a large box.

I bought mine from tools-rule. The right tilt model for $50, is only available in the platinum color. I put one on my blue/gray saw and it's not perfect, but the fit is exact. He has several, check his list.
