Jet 14" Band Saw

I need some help, I need to know the size of the base for a 2 year old Jet 14" Dlx Band Saw,
length and width. This model has the enclosed base. I don't have it home as yet. I have found some dimensions but they vary. I am looking for a mobile base the one I want is 21.75 x 14.5, the dimension I have seen is 14.75 x 17.25 for the Saw, I want make sure which is correct. I don't know if that .25" is actual.

Robert, this is the base I picked up for my JET bandsaw. It's a Delta 50-345 adjustable mobile base. It comes with everything but the 2" X 2"s. I used oak ofcourse. I have had it for several years and I really like it. If I remember correctly the price wasn't too bad either. I think the Delta base which is currently being sold at Lowe's for $10-$15 will fit your band saw.

Steve, I just checked the Lowes near me the Mobile Bases that were on sale are not available here, NY.
If I cannot get one of those I would like to get a standard base.
Would someone with the Late 14" Jet Solid Base Band Saw please measure the dimensions of the base of their Saw.

I found a base that might fit. I need to know if the base of the Saw is actual 14.75" or if that is a generous measurement and it will fit in a 14.50" opening? 1/4" smaller

I just went down to my basement and measured my Jet band saw and it is 17 1/8" X 14 15/16".:rolleyes:

Off to Lowes to try and find a Clearance Sale on the Delta Adjustable.

I was able to Locate a Lowes that had the Mobile Delta 50-345 Base.
I was able to get it for $15. I'll try it out this weekend.
