I have a handsaw (looks like 1930's or later) that has gotten my curiosity up. The medallion has the ubiquitous Warrented Superior, but with Made in USA in center, no eagle or etc. The etch has large word NASSAU and a circle about size of a quarter. Inside circle seems to say Long Neck Tools, and has picture of standing giraffe with neck extended. No other etch visible, and I am straining to define what is in the circle! Unlikely to get good picture of the circle etch, I'm afraid. [currently problem with computer port]

The whole thing seems like a joke, a take-off on the well-known Great Neck Tools, I believe made in Nassau county, Long Island, NY.

The saw is nothing special to look at it, I would imagine it would go begging at $10.00 plus shipping on ebay.

Can anyone shed any light as to who made it? A good story may be worth more than the saw......
