3/4 hp shop fox shaper on craig's list -- is it worth it for $150? esp compared to a router in a table?

i have a PC basic model (fixed) and i was thinking of getting a hitachi workhorse to put in a table saw extension.

The questions that arise are collet size (are you going to get stuck with only 1/4 in or does it come with two sizes), table and fence size (with that you are stuck with that table only), Motor size and speeds (can the speed vary), can it use shaper tooling also and how old/ how well used.
Grizzly has a 3/4hp (10amp) shaper with a router bit adapter for $315 but it only has one spindle speed (8,900 rpm) which is only good for some applications. Answer some of these questions first. It is cheaper than a router and table though.

my having an opinion:o. If it turns 8900 RPM, that's probably on the slow side for smaller router bits and won't take shaper cutters according to the ad. It seems like neither fish nor fowl. This looks like the newer version:

This one will take smaller shaper cutters and does turn faster for router bits.

A shaper? Three quarters horsepower? I'd pass on that one.

Isn't that a pin router?
