Tried the Dremel tool and the Incra 3000 as the second item....no dice! Seems only the router bits now get the 45% off. Even tried the Incra 27. Shucks...wasn't finished getting my herd of engravers :( .

Chris, did you understand that you must buy both tools from Amazon, and not from an Amazon vendor? When I clicked on the Dremel Engraver link, it brought up the Dremel "In Stock. Ships from and sold by Allsparestools (http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html/105-7643064-9938823?ie=UTF8&seller=A3REKJCJFKDI0B)". If you click on "35 used & new (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0000302YN/ref=dp_olp_2/105-7643064-9938823) available from $10.76" you will find one of the choices is sold by Amazon. Amazon is not the "main seller" because they are presently out-of-stock of the item. If you select the Dremel sold by Amazon, you should get the 45% discount.

You are right..to get the 45% both the power tool and accessory must be sold by Amazon. In case of the dremel the Amazon button is to the right. It does not matter if the item is in stock right now as they will still give you the discount. I wonder if you could put it in with your accessory and then after a week or two (after they deliver the accessory) cancel it and still get the 45% off the accessory?

If anyone needs a sheet/palm sander the Dewalt is on weekend sale for 39 dollars and works with the 45% off deal, Pretty good price to begin with but even better combined with CMT Sommerfeld 6 piece Cabinet making set for 188 shipped! I'm glad this sale is ending today I can't resist the deals even though I really don't have the money to be spending right now :mad: I can only imagine how broke I would be if this sale went on much longer LOL

If you check the detailed rules, you'll find that you'll be charged the amount of the discount if you return the power tool... The sharpies at Amazon are sometimes too clever for their own good, but they didn't overlook that ploy.

Not sure what happened, but after several purchases taking the Dremel as the bait, I tried again but the Dremel just would not work. So.....selected the polisher/buffer and all was well. About a half dozen folks will get Dremels for Christmas but a lucky one will be blessed with an expensive buffer :D . Amazon saved me a bunch this last week; wonder if I should send them a Christmas card ;) .

not sure if I did something wrong but the 45% was not reflected in my checkout and the Amazon message said this:

"The benefit for this promotion will not be reflected on the final order checkout page. The merchant will apply any benefit after your order has been processed."


Did people who succeeded in getting 45% have any issues like this?

I had tried to purchase the Incra LS Positioner Super System (25") with the Dremel, but even when I had selected the Amazon-sold engraver, the extra discount would not take. Opted for the screwdriver, and it worked like a champ.

I only made one order and didn't have that message come up. The 45% discount showed up before I finalized the order. I just checked and the discount still shows up for me with a gmc sander in my cart and 1 freud shaper set. If you have more than one accessory in the order that might be the problem?

O/k I see that,but where is the code you need to enter. Also where
can I find the terms & conditions of this particular promotion.

I bought the dremel & a bench dog cast iron router table & got the
deal. I later went back & bought the Triton 2 1/4 router and
a Porter cable dovetail jig and they wouldn't give me the discount.
