While walking through the woods on my farm, I noticed a large number of stumps and snags of tho original American Horse Chestnut left from when the disease killed these large trees. Surprisingly, when I checked, some of the wood appears to still be sound. I will be checking this out this week and keep you posted. If it is good enough for use as pens, I would send it to anyone as blanks just for the price of postage. If you are interested, PM me.
