I received ten Liberty Pens today from Kenn Hill which were authorized by the American Forests' Historic Tree Nursery (http://www.historictrees.org/products/productInformation.asp?product_id=P1935) for the Freedon Pen Program. Anyone interested in the history of the source of the wood for these pens should visit Kenn's web site (http://www.kennspenns.com/pens/treesliberty.html) , these pens truly represent our nations struggle for freedom.

It was under the Liberty Tree's branches that the Sons of Liberty met to hear Samuel Chase and other patriots. Annapolis residents also met under the tree and plotted the revolution from the British. "Under this tree, information was shared, resolutions made, and the seeds of revolution sewn,".

I intend to produce ten engraved plaques, one for each of these historic pens. I'm not quite sure of the final design as yet but I will post pictures when the first plaque is complete.
