My gallon of West Systems epoxy quit pumping? It is supposed to distrbute the correct ratio of liquid to the hardener. Can someone tell me the problem. Do I need a new pump or has it just lost its prime? The gallon is still half full.
Thank you,

Those plungers go out. Call Gougeon Bros (sp?) and they'll probably send you new plungers free, if you talk to the tech service department. Their online manual states what the required ratios are, so you could always manually mix while waiting for the replacements. (I keep replacements handy, 'cuz sometimes it just sits for a few months before I use it....)

Those big transparent 12oz beer cups are good. Take one and mark out graduations on its outside corresponding to the desired ratios by putting the right amounts of fluid (eg water) in one nested in it. Then you can pop a fresh one in and fill it with the right ratios of resin and hardener each time you need to make a batch.
