Grinder wheel arbor hole

Hi
First post on in the turners forum. Think I know what the answer is (heck no!!) but can a 5/8" arbor hole be reamed or otherwise to 1". I currently have Norton 8" by 1" 32G wheels with 5/8" holes.
I want to install Oneway balancing system which requires 1". Am I better off saftey wise to buy new wheels.

Buy some new wheels- it's not worth it- you will not have a good balanced seat even if you could bore the whole out- which is highly unlikley- at leat not precisely in the middle. Buy some new wheels Dave - saftey issue.:rolleyes:
