I just got a book from Woodworkers Journal in the mail. One that I never ordered.
It's the classic, "If you like it, send us money and we'll send you even more. If not, send the book back" trick.
I guess they already knew that was illegal since they have in fine print that you can keep it outright if returning it is a problem.
So if you get one in the mail, remember that you have no obligation to send it back or pay for it.
