View Full Version : cherry bowl with inlay

This one is cherry, tried a little different method on the inlay with some red and white chaulk. My sister-in-law loved it so I gave it to her (cause I didn't like it much:D ) Don't know the exact measurements now but it is about 9'' wide with a buffed seal coat finish.

You did it again, Mike! Nice bowl, nice inlay. Can't figure out why YOU didn't like it. That cherry figure is gorgeous.

It looks good. Do you think the chalk will hold up over time?
I pondered that same question. The epoxy is some tough stuff, and with the finish sealing it off, I think it will hold up under normal conditions. I guess time will tell.
