If you've got a good memory, this project began quite a while ago and is getting long in the tooth. Too many other things going on lately. But here are some more in-process pics of the console vanity and a new surround for the medicine cabinet. The last pic is a computer rending of our goal.

The wood is African mahogany with a Sedona Red stain and satin wipe on polyurethane. Hardware is nickel chrome from Hettich USA. Glass was ordered from Rockler...pricey but very nice.

I still need to make the top from solid surface material but am having trouble getting my hands on the material due to licensing issues.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Being in the final throws of finishing up my own vanities, I can appreciate how much you want this project to come to completion! I hope you find a solution to the solid surface challenge...I never liked those distribution restrictions, but can also understand them to a certain extent. They really should at least offer a way for a serious DIY or low-volume pro to get the stuff, even if it involves an hour or two of training.
