I am hoping to find someone gifted in the art of band saw identification. I recently bought a used 14" band saw and the catch is that this saw was probably made in 1986 (date listed on motor) but there is no brand or manufacturer info found anywhere on the saw. It's a 1hp saw, Motor has a serial number "Ser. JS. 270" but that's all the info there is.
Anyone out there who can give me a lead?
My ultimate end game is to find a riser block to add. In the pics linked you can see where the extention arm meets the main body , but there is a short monster bolt there. The dimensions of the arm base are 4.5" by 3.5"
Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.
